Prof Dr Olivia Fachrunnisa is currently a Professor of Management Science and a senior researcher at the Dept. of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) Semarang, Indonesia.

She was born in Kudus, 1975 and started her career in 2000 as a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), Indonesia, and received her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. Olivia continued her Ph.D at Curtin Business School in 2008 and completed in 2012. Research skills and agile learning skills are one of the valuable experiences gained during her Ph.D, so that after returning from her studies, she was trusted to be the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISSULA, for the period of 2014 to October 2022. She is an active member of the Academy of Management, the Society of Human Resource Management, and ICMI.

Equipped with the two skills above, Prof Dr Olivia has the ability and a strong commitment to her profession as a lecturer and researcher. She was qualified for a position with strict requirements for the title of professor in 2019.

Olivia has published many articles and books at reputable outlets both nationally and internationally. She has also become a speaker in various scientific forums both nationally and internationally. She has actively contributed to the development of business intelligence, especially in strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs through the adoption of Information Technology. Her teaching interests and research areas are in Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management, Organizational Behaviour and Business Intelligence.
