The Terengganu International Business and Economics Conference or TiBÉC was first launched in 2008. The conference was seen as a platform for academicians and practitioners to share relevant knowledge in the fields of business and economic. Since it was a tremendous success, the organizer under Faculty Business and Management, UiTMCT had held four more conferences to gain better understanding of issues in the business and economic disciplines. Our last installment of TiBÉC VI was organized in 2018. TiBÉC conferences had productively published and presented more than 500 papers from various fields in business and management.
One of TiBÉC main objective is to amass academicians, policy maker and practitioners with new findings in the field of finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics, operations management & logistics, hospitality, organizational development, Islamic finance & banking, office systems management, human resources, international trade and any field related to business and management. The conference provides a forum for disseminating information on new practices and techniques in those areas. TiBÉC has become a stage of exchanging ideas among academicians, policy makers and practitioners. Consequently, TiBÉC has become an agent to promote a better understanding of contemporary issues and solutions to the challenges in the region as well as the world in relation of the field of business and economic.
