WELCOME TO ICECT IV
Welcome to the official website of the 4th International Conference On Engineering and Computing Technologies (ICECT IV). The conference will be held from 30th to 31st October 2023. ICECT IV is organized by UiTM Cawangan Terengganu to provide opportunities to research scholars, delegates, academicians, and students to engage in dialogue on a wide range of topics in engineering challenges and current technology. ICECT IV will provide an outstanding international forum for knowledge sharing in engineering challenges and current technology.
Formerly launched in 2016 as International Symposium of Engineering Technologies (ISET), the conference name was then changed to The International Conference on Engineering and Computing Technology (ICECT II) in 2018. Now the conference is rebranding as International Conference on Engineering and Computing Technologies (ICECT IV) to ensure it is relevant with the latest emerging challenges in engineering and to cater the latest and current technology. The conference covers a broad range of topics related to the current trends in engineering and technology prospective. A hybrid mode is used as a method of presentation within the two-day conference.
Theme ICECT IV:
“Exploring future innovation and sustainability in engineering and computing technologies”
The world is going through a fundamental transformation, which changes the way we live, work, and think. The Transformation Future is currently ushering in dramatic changes and giving a rise to a future filled with exciting opportunities and new challenges. Complex problems require many solutions to be working in harmony in order to enable positive changes and future industries to offer future solutions in Science and Technology. The real challenges for scientists and engineers are to provide solutions anchored in facts, data, and todays realities. While technologies offer new tools to help uncover solutions, the processes also require hard work, imagination, and tons of innovation. Success rests on implementing and delivering practical, realistic as well as long-term solutions that make the world cleaner, safer, and more sustainable.

PUBLICATIONS
All extended abstract will be published in e-proceeding with e-ISBN number. Accepted paper will be published in SCOPUS and MyCite indexed journal with article processing charge (subject to editorial approval).

Ir Ahmad Nazari Ashari, FIEM, ACPE, MIET, MACEM, P Eng
Chairman of MECIP Sdn.Bhd
Ir Ahmad Nazari Ashari, a Malaysian, aged 63, is the Chairman and co-founder of MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd and MECIP (M) Sdn Bhd. Previously Managing Director of the companies for 16 years, he has since taken the role of chairman of the board looking into strategic direction and corporate governance of the companies.
Ir Ahmad is an engineer by profession with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer and a certified Electrical Services Engineer by the Energy Commission of Malaysia. Ir Ahmad spent 18 years in various capacities in PETRONAS before setting up MECIP and spearheaded the company’s entry into the oil & gas business in 2001.
